Terms & Conditions
This booking is made between Pro7ect (“us” “our” “we”) and the customer (“you” “your”) on the following terms and conditions:
1. Bookings:
Full payment is required to secure your booking unless a payment plan has been agreed. The terms of the available payment arrangement, four payments made separately in the months leading up to the event, will be agreed with you. In this instance a deposit of one quarter of the fee is required to reserve your place. Ask upon application for payment plan details.
2. Session & Masterclass packages:
2.1 Residential Session price includes four night’s accommodation, full catering (breakfast, lunch and dinner), 3 writing days in Rockfield’s Quadrangle and Coach House studios, Headline Producer fees, equipment, engineers & P7 Alumni benefits.
2.2 Masterclass price includes 1 day studio session, Headline producer fees, lunch and P7 Alumni benefits. .
2.3 The price also covers hot non-alcoholic beverages (tea and coffee) and water.
It does not cover alcoholic beverages, which will be provided if required, at a reduced price.
3. Registration:
Session artists must arrive by 5pm on the first evening of the residential retreats, for an evening meal followed by a tour and orientation. Artists attending the Masterclasses must arrive at least 20mins before the session starts.
4. Travel:
4.1 Car parking facilities are provided for no extra fee.
4.2 Disabled parking spaces are available.
4.3 Artists are responsible for travel to and from Rockfield themselves: the address is Amberley Court, Rockfield Rd, Monmouth NP25 5ST UK.
5. Cancellations: If you cancel your booking the 25% payment plan deposit is not refundable. If you cancel your booking after paying several quarter payments, up to six weeks before the event, the initial deposit is not refundable but subsequent payments will be refunded to you. If you cancel your booking within the six weeks before the event 50% of the payments made, including the first payment amount, will not be refunded.

If the event is postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions either a full refund, or priority place at the next P7 event, will be issued to the artist.
6. Changes to the program:
We reserve the right to make changes to the advertised program and producers. Due to the nature of the music industry, changes will inevitably occur, as occasionally the original producers may be unavailable. We always endeavour to replace producers with someone of similar experience, and to give you as much notice as possible.
7. Cancellation of event & COVID stratergy:
7.1 If we need to cancel the event you will be notified by email and you will receive a full refund. Our COVID policy allows us to cancel the event if there is a risk of health to participants and a full refund will be given.
7.2 We cannot reimburse travel costs or other losses incurred by you in the event of cancellation by you or us. You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance to cover potential loss arising from cancellation or other eventuality affecting your booking, including event fees and travel costs. You should check that any policy you take meets your needs
7.3 Artists are required to take a lateral flow test and to test negative before attending Pro7ect events. If any artist tests COVID positive during a Pro7ect event they will be asked to isolate and a remote working station will be allocated.
7.4 Refunds will not be given to artists who arrive to the event with COVID or who test positive for COVID during a Pro7ect event.
8. Conduct
:
Pro7ect collaborative events rely on a level of tolerance and respect from all participants for each other’s creative work. We reserve the right to refuse a place and to exclude from an event any participant who, in our opinion, behaves in an abusive or disruptive manner or engages in any discriminatory conduct. No refund will be given if exclusion is made for these reasons.
9. Under 18s:
Applicants must be over the age of 18.
10. Limitation of Liability:
10.1 To the fullest extent permissible by law, our liability for any loss or damage suffered by you shall be limited to that which arises out of the negligence of the our employees, subcontractors or agents.
10.2 Notwithstanding sub-Clause 10.1 above, we shall not be liable for any indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by you including, but not limited to, loss of income, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, loss of data or loss of enjoyment.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions purports to limit or exclude our liability for:
10.3.1 death or personal injury cased by our negligence, our employees, subcontractors or agents;
10.3.2 fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
10.3.3 any other matter for which it would be illegal for us to limit or exclude its liability.
11. Participation and access:
11.1 We are committed to providing a supportive and welcoming environment to all. During a week, participants should expect to take part in daily writing/production groups and evening meal discussions. The Pro7ect team provides some general support to all participants but not continuous care, and participants should be able to live independently.
11.2 Each writing team will be obliged to enter into a collaboration agreement relating to inter alia the co-ownership of the musical composition(s) a copy of which will be provided each day and available after the event.
11.3 Pro7ect management will decide on the daily teams and allocates writing groups deemed suitable for optimum results. Due to the nature of the event not all participants will be able to work with every producer and the Pro7ect management team’s daily allocation decisions will be final.
12. Data Protection:
We will not share your personal data with any third parties for any reasons without your prior consent. Such data will only be collected, processed and held in accordance with Pro7ect's rights and obligations arising under the provisions and principles of the Data Protection Act 1998.
13. Digital Assets and Ownership:
13.1 Master Sessions are the property of Pro7ect.
13.2 Contributing artists will have access to their Master Session without fee or fine.
13.3 All digital content captured and recorded at Pro7ect events may be used for promotional and marketing purposes.
14. No Waiver:
No failure by us to enforce any provision in these Terms and Conditions shall constitute a waiver of the right to subsequently enforce that provision or any other provision of these Terms and Conditions. Such failure shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any preceding or subsequent breach and shall not constitute a continuing waiver.
15. Severance:
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.
16. Law and Jurisdiction:
16.1 These Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales.
16.2 Any dispute, controversy, proceedings or claim between the Parties relating to these Terms and Conditions (including any non-contractual matters and obligations arising therefrom or associated therewith) shall fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
